Orthodontic Consultations for children and adults
About your first visit with Kathryn E. Rand, DDS
Your first orthodontic visit with Dr. Kathryn Rand is a thirty-minute consultation. We will evaluate the condition of your smile and discuss treatment options. We will also take a complete medical history. When you share your medical history with our office, be sure to provide complete, honest and up-to-date information. This information will help the doctor to select the safest and most effective method of treatment. This visit may include x-rays that allow Dr. Kathryn Rand to view the structure of the jaw, teeth and roots. After Dr. Kathryn Rand has evaluated your x-rays and examined your mouth, she will discuss the recommended course of treatment, fees, payment options and insurance coverage. Dr. Kathryn Rand encourages our patients and their families to ask questions so that everyone has a clear understanding of treatment and expectations.
Should you wish to begin treatment, impressions will be taken upon your second visit. Additional x-rays will be required. We will also take diagnostic photographs at this time.
We understand that people are busy. We ask that you try to be on time for your appointment so we don't fall behind and intrude on the schedule of others. If something should interfere with your appointment and you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you kindly give us at least 24-hour advance notice.
Thank you so much Dr. Kathryn Rand and staff. I absolutely love my teeth. I can't stop looking at them. The look was totally worth the wait!
